摘要
旅游已成为我国国民经济的支柱产业。在经济全球化、文化多样化、旅游国际化的大背景下,我国旅游业正以前所未有的强劲势头走向世界。但是,就目前国内涉外旅游的英语翻译文本而言,差强人意的现象比比皆是。文章从剖析国内几个典型的与旅游业相关的英语翻译文本入手,指出我国当前旅游英语文本中亟待解决的问题,借助勒菲弗尔"操纵学派"倡导的"翻译是改写"的论点,针对性地提出若干汉译英策略,探索涉外英语翻译文本更好地服务于中国旅游业的译学理据。
As the pillar industry in the country Chinese tourism is developing with unprecedentedly tremendous momentum in the context of economic globalization,cultural diversity and tourism internationalization. However, substandard English translation of Chinese tourism texts prevails nowadays. This paper attempts to probe into the common mistakes in the publicity - oriented tourism texts with the help of Andre Lefevere, the famous theoretician of the Manipulation School, which claims that translation is rewriting. So the paper is to put forward relevant translating strategies in order to improve the current situation, hoping to offer the convincing theoretical justification for the translation practice, which may help the Chinese tourism gain a position in the international arena in return.
