On the Evolution and Innovation of Our Party's Developing Strategy of Distance Education since the Establish of PRC

新中国成立以来,我们党对远程教育的发展始终给予了高度的关注,不仅把远程教育的发展纳入了社会发展的总体框架,而且使之成为社会发展模式创新的重要特征,由此形成了我们党关于远程教育的发展战略,并伴随着我国经济社会的发展不断演进与创新。党的十七大报告进一步确立了远程教育发展的战略任务,不仅开辟了远程教育发展认识的新境界,而且为远程教育的发展制订了新的行动纲领。

Since the new China is founded, our Party always pays high attention on the development of distance education, which has not only been integrated into the overall frame of Country＇s social development system, but also become a significant characteristic of innovation pattern of social development. Thus the Party＇s developing strategy of distance education has been shaped and evolved and innovated accompanying with the development of economy and society. The report of 17th National Congress of the CPC has further established the strategic mission of distance education, which opens up a new vista to the cognition of distance educations development and draws up a new action guiding principle.
