摘要
目的研究喉鳞状细胞癌(简称喉癌)及其癌旁组织中(vascularendothelial growth factor C,VEGF-C)表达水平和淋巴管(lympha vessels,LV)计数,探讨两者的临床病理意义及相互关系。方法41例喉癌和20例癌旁组织手术切除标本常规制作石蜡包埋切片,VEGF-C和LV染色方法为EnVisionTM免疫组化法。结果喉癌VEGF-C表达阳性率和评分及LV计数明显高于癌旁组织(VEGF-C,56.1%对25.0%,χ2=5.24,P<0.05;2.72±1.61对1.14±1.28,t=3.85,P<0.01。LV:12.44±5.76对6.82±4.33,t=3.82,P<0.01);组织学分级Ⅰ级、临床分型T1和无转移喉癌VEGF-C表达阳性率和评分及LV计数均明显低于组织学分级Ⅲ级,临床分型T3和转移病例(P<0.05或P<0.01)。VEGF-C表达阳性喉癌LV计数(14.82±5.25)明显高于阴性病例(9.12±6.32,P<0.01),其评分值与LV计数呈高度密切正相关(r=0.47,P<0.01)。结论VEGF-C表达和LV计数均为反映喉癌进展、生物学行为和预后的重要生物学指标,VEGF-C具有明显的促喉癌LV生成作用。
OBJECTIVE To study the expression level of VEGF-C and the count of lymph vessels (LV) in the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and its pericancerous tissues, and to discuss their clinicopathological significance and correlation.METHODS Immunohistochemical method of Envision TM was used for detecting the VEGF-C expression and LV count in the routinely paraffin-embedded sections of specimens of 41 cases with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and 20 ones with pericancerous tissues,RESULTS The positive rate and score or LV count was significantly higher in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma tissues than that in pericancerous tissues (P〈 0.05 or P〈 0.01) , The positive rates and scores of VEGF-C or LV counts were significantly lower in the cases of histological grade Ⅰ, clinical type T1, and no-metastasis of lymphnode than those in the cases of histological grade Ⅲ,clinical type T3 and metastasis of lymphnode in the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma tissues (P〈0.05 or P〈0.01) . The LV count was significantly higher in the cases with positive expression of VEGF-C than in cases with negative expression of VEGF-C (P〈 0.01), and positive correlation was found between the score of VEGF-C expression and the LV count in the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (r = 0.47,P〈 0.01). CONCLUSION The expression of VEGF-C and LV count might be important biological markers for reflecting the progression, biological behaviors and prognosis, and VEGF-C might have enhanced effects on the lymphangiogenesis of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
