南海pH值的年际变化及其与温、盐的关系

ANNUAL VARIATION OF pH IN RELATION WITH TEMPERATURE AND SANILITY IN SOUTH CHINA SEA

利用1975～1984年南海北部10年断面调查资料,分析了南海pH值的年际变化及其与温、盐的关系,研究结果表明:在10年的变化过程中,以1980、1984年pH值较高,而以1981、1982、1983年较低,其年际变化的特点表现为大致具有3～4年的周期性,并随温、盐的年际变化而变化。pH值的这一变化可能是由于海水温度对浮游植物的光合作用过程所致。

This paper analyses the annual variation of pH of 10 years in the South China Sea, on the basis of section-investigated data from 1975 through 1984 in the area. Higher pH values appeared in 1980 and 1984 and lower pH values in 1981, 1982 and 1983. The variation cycle of pH values is 3-4 years and may change with the annual variation of the temperature and sanility, which is probably caused by the effects of seawater temperature on the course of photosynthesis of ,phyto-plankton.
