《左传》是我国第一部叙事详细的完整的历史著作。随着西汉《左传》注释工作的深入,对该书语言艺术———修辞的评论散见于文学、史学、训诂学、文章学等各类著作。本文将这方面的研究工作围绕其成果特点分为西汉至唐、宋代至清以及二十世纪以来三个阶段。

Zuozhuan is the first complete historical work work,many remarks can be seen in all kinds of works in China. With the furthering of annotation of the in literature, history and critical interpretation of ancient texts. According to their characteristics of achievements, the paper divides these researches into three stages： from Western Han Dynasty to Tang Dynasty, from Song Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, from Qing Dynasty to the twentieth century.
