从《黑奴吁天录》看社会意识形态对翻译的影响

Research on Ideological Influence upon the Translation of Uncle Tom's Cabin

在勒菲弗尔看来,翻译是一个重要的改写和决策过程,受到包括意识形态和诗学等因素在内的诸多因素的影响。笔者对林纾翻译的《黑奴吁天录》进行了分析。笔者认为,不同的社会具有不同的意识形态,译者同时具有自身的意识形态,它们会影响译者对原作的选择。并且,意识形态也会影响译者的翻译策略。

From Lefevere＇s viewpoint, translation is an important process of rewriting and decision-making, which undergoes the influence of many factors, such as ideology, poetics etc. The author analyses the translation of Uncle Tom＇s Cabin by Stowe. We believe that different societies have their own ideology,which can affect the translator＇s choice of the source text. Besides, ideology can influence the translator＇s strategies as well.
