The Reasons for the Development of Chinese Economy during the Period of the Northern Warlords

北洋军阀统治时期是近代中国历史上政治最黑暗、最反动、最腐朽的时期。中央政府对于国民经济的发展很难起到积极的促进作用。而这种不完全作为,在20世纪初中国社会剧变的背景下,充分调动了各种社会因素,形成一种综合的社会力量,促进了这一时期的中国经济的发展。

The northern warlords period in China was regarded as the darkest, the most reactionary and the most decadent in Chinese history. The central government could hardly make any progress in the development of national economy.However, under the situation of drastic changes in Chinese society,the exsitence of central government still help to develop Chinese economy in the early 20th century.
