摘要
国内运用错误分析理论对英语写作进行分析的研究很多,但是跟踪研究却很少。不同层次的英语专业学生在书面英语表达中是否会犯不同类型的错误?本文以错误分析理论为框架,以数据分析为手段,通过对同一批学生在不同年级所犯的错误实例进行统计、比较与分析,找出了各类型错误的消涨趋势,指出了哪些错误会随着年级的增长与水平的提高而减少,哪些错误却一直存在,甚至有所增加,从而为英语教学提供了有价值的参考。
Many researches have been made to study English writing in China within the framework of Error Analysis (EA), but few of them are longitudinal. Will English inajors at different stages tend to make different types of errors in their writings? This paper examines the different types of errors taken from 90 English compositions written by 30 English majors. Statistical analysis shows that lexical errors are of great complexity and take on a tendency of going up with the passage of time and improvement of English proficiency; errors in spelling and punctuation, which could be self corrected by students in most people's opinion, turn out to be underestimated; discourse errors appear to stay almost on the same level ; and the grammatical errors are the only ones which drop in number with the passage of time. Therefore, the paper suggests that it is of great necessity to focus on different aspects in learning and teaching at different stages.
