摘要
语境对于二语习得,尤其是词汇习得的作用早为学界所证明,但迄今为止,语境研究与教学均局限于基于文本的平面语境。随着技术手段的进步,已有可能构建基于目标语视频的虚拟语境,革新传统词汇教学呈现方式,提供有效的词汇认知支点。通过一个先导研究,本文探讨了建立视频语料库,构建虚拟目标语语境的具体方法及可行性。
The positive effect of context on L2 acquisition and particularly L2 lexicon acquisition has long been established in the academia. Yet so far L2 pedagogy and research in this regard deal almost exclusively with the text-based "flat context". With the advance in technology, it is now feasible to construct virtual target language contexts in an L2 environment, thereby offering a new means of vocabulary presentation for language practitioners and effective cognitive footholds for L2 learners. Through a pilot study, the procedures and methods for constructing a video corpora and the virtual target language context are explored.
