摘要
本文采用问卷调查的方式对三所高级职业技术学院365名学生的英语学习观念进行了研究。通过因子分析共提取出六组英语学习观念,即自我效能观念、元认知策略观念、动机观念、语言学习性质现念、情感策略观念和母语依赖现念。独立样本检验显示,在六组观念的24个题目中,男女学生只在两个观念的三个题目上表现出差异来,即对自己的英语策略的反思、对自己英语水平的评估和对英语的难度的看法。多元分析结果表明,自我效能观念和动机观念对学生的英语成绩具有正向预测能力,高职学生的自我效能观念和动机观念越强,其英语成绩越好。在文章的最后,作者提出了调查结果对高职院校英语教学的启示。
The survey on the learning beliefs of vocational students shows that: 1 ) vocational students have six groups of beliefs which are concerned with self-efficacy, meta-cognition, motivation, language learning, affection, and mother-tongue reliance; 2) differences are detected on three beliefs in terms of gender; and 3) self-efficacy beliefs and motivational beliefs have positive predicative power to the English achievement on the part of the learners. Then implications of the research are put forward at the end of the paper.
