Distribution and Types of Mining Heritages in Huangshi City

黄石市矿业遗迹具有成片分布、相对集中的特点,主要集中分布于铁山、黄荆山、瓦雪地、陈贵、金湖—大箕铺、富池等五个区带。黄石市矿业遗迹的划分分为三个层次:一是时间层次,为主层次;二是矿种层次;三是矿业活动层次,为基本层次。按照其时代特征将矿业遗迹分为古代、近代和现代矿业遗迹三类;按矿种将黄石市矿业遗迹分为铜矿、铁矿、银矿、石灰石矿业遗迹等;按照矿业活动和过程,将矿业遗迹分为探矿、采矿、选冶、加工、人文矿业、矿产地质遗迹。对矿业遗迹进行分区和类型划分,为科学研究、保护和合理开发利用矿业遗迹资源提供技术支撑。

Mining heritages in Huangshi City distribute mainly in five zones as Tieshan, Huangjinshan, Waxuedi, Chengui,Jinhu-Dajipu,Fuchi with characteristics of large expanse of distribution and relative concentration. The division of mining heritages in Huangshi City is divided into three levels：first is the time level which is primarily level;second is the ore type level;finally,third is the mining activity level which is the basic level. Mining heritages in Huangshi, according to its time features, are divided into three kinds of ancient, contemporary and modern mining heritage;According to ore types,it can be divided into mining heritages of copper, iron, silver and limestone and so on ; According to mining activity and process,it is divided into heritages of prospecting, mining, beneficiation-metallurgy, processing, humanistic mining, mineral geology. Mining heritages in Huangshi City are regionalized and type classified which provides reference for scientific research and protection as well as reasonable development and utilization of mining heritage.
