This paper is a scrutiny of the narrative and imagination in the consumption society,for the arrival of consumption society has transformed not only our narrative of but also our judgment and imagination of matters in that consumptionism,money ownership and the rampancy of sexual desire are successfully penetrating into the circles of life and narration.This paper attempts to uncover the predicament of the current narrative and the spiritual maladies of our epoch by elaborating on the core elements in literary narrative-mercury illusion, body enticement and digital truths.
