我国是镁金属大国，产量和储量均位于全球前列。目前镁合金技术正飞速发展。镁合金与其它合金相比在同等受力条件下具有更强的抗冲击震动性，同时镁合金具有更好的铸造和加工性能。镁合金成形的办法主要有压铸和变形镁合金。镁合金目前应用的领域包括IT、汽车工业、航空工业等。
