“提质增效”——昆明世博园可持续发展的必然选择

"Improving Product Quality,Increasing Interest"——An Inevitable Choice for KUNMING EXPO'99 Sustainable Development

昆明世博园的兴衰对云南省旅游业的发展至关重要,但自'99世博会后,其经济效益呈下滑趋势。在研究现状综述的基础上,通过对"提质"与"增量"两种发展模式的对比分析,指出"提质增效"是世博园摆脱困境的最佳选择;并论证了这一选择的必要性和可行性;最后,对世博园实施"提质增效"应当进行的相关研究提出一些构想。

The prosperity and declination of KUNMING EXPO＇ 99 is extremely significant to the whole tourism industry of Yunnan Province. However, since the exhibition of 1999, its profit has decreased continuously. Based on the analysis of related papers and documents, and the comparison of two developmental models ＂improving product quality＂ and ＂exploiting new products＂, this paper points out the best choice to shake off its predicament ：＂Improving Product Quality, Increasing Interest＂ then discusses its necessity and feasibility; finally, some propositions are made for further study.
