Application of digital elevation model to railway transportation

摘要 阐述数字高程模型的概念及两种主要数据结构,简要介绍几种地形分析的算法,并以具体项目为背景,对数字高程模型在铁路交通中的应用进行研究。 It was described the concept and two main data structure of Digital Elevation Model （DEM）, also summarized several algorithm of terrain analysis. Then based on specific project, we discussed the application to DEM in railway transportation.
