Freedom and Justness: the Essential Orientation of the Harmonious Society in Values

科学社会主义理论内含自由与和谐统一的要义,自由原则是和谐社会的内在应有之义,是实现社会公正的必要前提,自由原则的贯彻程度事关社会主义的兴衰成败。正义社会的基本原则是自由和公正,和谐社会建设既要注重公正原则,也要注重自由原则,二者应该辩证统一于社会主义和谐社会构建之中。

Freedom and justness is unified in the theory of scientific socialism. A harmonious society should naturally observe the principle of freedom, which is the precondition of realizing the social justness. The degree to which this principle is fulfilled has decisive influence on the rising and declining of socialism. The basic principles of a so- ciety of justice are freedom and justness, both of which should be dialectically unified in the construction of the socialist harmonious society.
