添加剂对铝电解炭基阴极钠渗透膨胀过程的影响 被引量:15

Effects of additives on the sodium penetration and expansion of carbon-based cathodes during aluminum electrolysis

摘要 为了提高现用铝电解炭基阴极的抗钠侵蚀性能,在实验室条件下研究了添加剂对铝电解炭基阴极钠渗透膨胀的影响.结果表明:添加B2O3能减缓钠的初期渗透和膨胀速率,但同时会增加阴极的终期膨胀量;而添加TiB2既能减少金属钠的渗透量,又能降低炭基阴极的钠膨胀率;当同时加入TiB2和B2O3时,能够进一步提高炭基阴极的抗钠渗透膨胀性能. The experimental investigation of sodium penetration and expansion of carbon-based cathodes during aluminum electrolysis was carried out in a laboratory cell. The results show that the addition of B2O3 can reduce the rate of sodium penetration but increase the rate of sodium expansion at the final stage. The addition of TiB2 results in lower rates for both sodium penetration and sodium expansion. SEM-EDS analysis indicates that TiB2 + B2O3 presents within the areas of binder phase of the cathode, which may play a role in reducing the rates of sodium penetration and expansion.
