雌激素与牙周炎和绝经后骨质疏松的研究进展 被引量:8

摘要 牙周炎(periodontitis)是由多种因素所导致的发生在牙周支持组织的一种进行性损害性疾病,且牙槽骨破坏吸收十分明显。绝经后骨质疏松(Postmenopausal osteoporosis,PMO)主要是由绝经引起的骨质疏松症,属于女性中老年人一种进行性退行性病变,雌激素减少是导致本病发生的重要因素。流行病学研究显示慢性牙周炎与骨质疏松相关,尤其是与绝经期妇女的关系更为紧密,系统性骨质疏松造成的普遍性骨丧失可加速牙槽骨吸收。多项研究已表明,雌激素缺乏与牙周炎和骨质疏松这两种疾病的发生都存在着密切关系。该文就近几年雌激素缺乏与牙周炎和绝经后骨质疏松的研究进展进行综述。 Periodontitis occurred in periodontium is one kind of aggravately destructive disease caused by various factors, with obviouse extreme alveolar bone absorption. Postmenopausal osteoporosis is mainly hapened after menopaused . Estrogen decrease is the important factor. The epidemiological research shows that the chronic periodontitis is related to osteoporosis, particularly in postmenopausal women. The systematic osteoporosis results in the catholicity bone loss and would accelerates alveolar bone absorption. Several researches have already indicated that the estrogen lack has a close relation with periodontitis and osteoporosis. This paper will review the new rescarch progress of estrogen in periodontitis and postmenopausal osteoporosis.
