Analyzing China's Capital Flight Through Errors and Omissions

国际收支平衡表中的误差与遗漏项目一直未引起人们的重视。文中结合近二十二年来国内外经济金融的发展变动情况,利用1985-2006年中国国际收支平衡表中的统计数据,通过对误差与遗漏项目的阶段性变化特征进行分析,揭示了该项目与中国资本外逃之间的关系,并提出相关的对策和建议。

The item＂ Errors and Omissions＂ in the Balance of Payment Statement has always failed to attract due attention in China. Considering economic and financial changes at home and abroad in the past twenty--two years and analyzing the statistics of China＇s International Balance of Payment Statement from 1985 and 2006, this paper examines the relationship between errors and omissions and China＇s capital flight and offers related suggestions and solutions by making an analysis of the periodic changes of errors and omissions.
