摘要
隐喻可以体现在不同的语言层次上,如一个词、短语、小句、句子或语篇。体现为语篇时,可以是小说或散文,也可以是诗歌。本文分析两首体现隐喻的诗,拟回答两个相互联系的问题:根据什么说一个语篇体现了隐喻?语篇体现的隐喻有哪些特征?本文对此进行隐喻分析、语篇分析和评价分析,以考察语言分析结果是否与隐喻分析结果一致,从而揭示概念隐喻的本质特征。
Metaphor can be realized at various levels of linguistic organization,a word,phrase,clause or sentence,and discourse as well.When realized in discourse,the diocourse may take the form of a novel or an essay.It may also take the form of a poem,which is the concern of this paper.It aims to address the question of what characterizes a discourse as the realization of a conceptual metaphor, by a multi-level analysis consisting of a metaphor analysis, a text analysis and an appraisal analysis.The linguistic analysis is made in order to see whether the results are compatible with and in support of those found in metaphor analysis and how text realizes a metaphor.
