本文通过对主题标引和主题检索过程的分析，明确了主题检索和主题标引是原理相同、准则相同的工作过程，两者关系密切，相辅相成，加强对这些知识的学习，可以提高检索效率。
This paper presents the same principle and criteria established for subject indexing andretrieval by analysis of their processes. they are closely rclated and complement each other. so theyare helpful to improve retrieval efficiency if you have a good command of them.
