摘要
为了检验一个准全球的海洋环流模式对风应力变化的响应,尤其是在热带太平洋冷舌区对风应力的响应,使用源于SODA(simple ocean data assimilation)再分析资料的风应力强迫该模式进行控制试验,在(10°S^10°N,180°~120°W)的区域减小风应力进行敏感性试验,并把试验结果与同时段的资料进行分析比较。结果表明,试验结果在总体趋势上大致相同,风应力减小时主要是对试验区表层有影响,可以改善模式对热带东太平洋冷舌的模拟,而对次表层温度和流场的刻画较弱,且影响范围不仅是在试验区。此外,该模式能模拟出海洋环流的基本气候态,但是对一些细节描述还不够准确。
Sensitivity experiments were done to evaluate the response of an oceanic general circulation model to the wind stress. Two different wind stresses deriving from SODA reanalysis data were adopted to force the model, which are original stress data (called control experiment) and minishing data in (10°S-10°N,180°-120°W) (called sensitivity experiment), and then the results were compared with the contemporaneous data. The results show that reducing the wind stress can improve the ability to simulate sea surface temperature, and that the influence area is mainly in the experimental area while the case is different in subsurface. Although this model can simulate the basic climatic form, many schemes, such as improving resolution, adjusting wind stress and changing mixed schemes, should be altered to improve the simulation ability.
