The commercial Preparation process of cobalt blue pigment, its application properties, fields and recentprogress were described. It has shown that it is the bestblue pigment with excellent lightfastness, weather, heatand chemical resistance, which is suitable for the severerequirement that cannot be met with other conventionalblue pigments, e. g. extra-durable extferior paints andconstruction sidings of engineering plastics.
