The ARPU is declining, and the revenue from new services are growing slowly, which shows that the telecom operators are facing a new round of challenge. The best solution is to stimu-late the profit growth with innovated services. Besides expanding revenue sources, it is also a wise choice to reduce the operation costs and balance the input-output through active and effective cost saving measures. Telecom operators takes energy-saving and ejection-decreasing solutions, such as installing energy-saving base station, implementing 'green lighting' plan, using renewable energy and the mobile phone recycling, which save resource and also cut carbon dioxide emission. Operators benefit indi-rectly and fulfill their social responsibility actively. At the present, Chinese government highly concentrates on energy-saviag and ejection-deereasing. From the view of whole industry, energy-saving and ejection-decreasing not only constructs the environment of green network, but also push forward the industry to fulfill the balance among economy, society and environment. It brought new market opportunities to equipment providers.
