Anxiety disorders are high prevalent in the general population, The majority of patients with anxiety disorder present somatic symptoms, the clinical manifestation of anxiety varies widely. Physicians are less likely to recognize and treat anxiety disorder when the patients present with physical symptoms alone. This review focuses on the somatic symptoms in patients with anxiety disorder.
