Power distribution among major equipment on Wanqingsha, a trailing suction hopper dredger, is managed by a power management system, which makes the relevant equipment rational and orderly in power distribution. The paper describes the power management system and the performance parameters of the major equipment on Wanqingsha so as to help understand and mastered better the power management system on Wanqingsha, correctly manage and operate the relevant equipment and mainrain well the power management system.
