摘要
宽带雷达探测性能评估方法与窄带雷达有较大不同。从雷达目标的散射中心模型出发,分析比较了高斯白噪声背景下窄带雷达和宽带雷达的探测性能。理论分析和数值仿真结果表明,如果已知被探测目标确切的先验信息,包括目标散射特性、目标相对雷达的姿态角等,结合优化设计的发射信号波形,宽带雷达就可以获得优于窄带雷达的探测性能。考虑到实际应用中目标先验信息不易获取,宽带雷达的探测性能相对于其最优性能将大大下降。
The detection performance evaluation methods are different between narrowband radar and wideband radar. Based on the multiple scatter centers target model, the detection performances of wideband radar and narrowband radar are analyzed and compared in this paper. If the prior information about the detected target, such as target scattering characteristics, target orientation, etc, are known, the wideband radar can achieves better detection performance than the narrowband radar by using optimized transmit signals. However, the prior information about the target are generally unavailable in practice, the detection performance of wideband radar will be decreased seriously comparing with its optimal detection performance.
