Factors Affecting "Faithfulness" in Cultural Translation

目前许多翻译研究者主张以文化翻译代替字面翻译,以达到翻译标准。文章从这一理论出发,主要论述文化翻译中影响"信"的因素,并进而探讨文化翻译中达到"信"的基本标准。

It is advocated by translation researchers in the translation field to realize the translation norm that the cultural translation is eligible to take place of literal translation. Based on this concept, the paper expounds mainly on factors affecting ＂faithfulness＂, and then discusses the basic translation standard in cultural translation and some measures for realizing ＂faithfulness＂.
