试论高职院商务英语口译教学

On Teaching Business English Interpreting in Higher Vocational Colleges

通过对高职院商务英语口译课程性质、教学目标、学生特点以及教师队伍现状的分析,指出口译教师应加强学生基本技能训练,传授英语语言和商务知识,提高自己的专业水平,注重师生互动,积极参与教材编写工作。

Based on the analysis of the nature of business English interpreting, its＇ teaching objectives, the differences between students in higher vocational colleges and those in other colleges and the state of the teaching staff, the paper points out that the teachers of business English interpreting in higher vocational colleges should focus on the development of the students＇ English language skills and the acquiring of business knowledge. In addition, the teachers should enhance their own professional knowledge, attach geat importance to the interaction between teachers and students, and actively participate in compiling textbooks.
