摘要 植物根际存在着一类有益的自生细菌,它们通过各种间接的或直接的方式抑制植物病原苗繁殖并促进植物生长。近年来,对促生根际自生细菌的作用机制和应用进行了多方面的研究,已清楚地表明,这些微生物的广泛利用将会对农业生产的发展具有重大的经济价值。目前,正在采用转基因技术,改造根际自生细菌,以提高促进植物生长的效率。 Various free-living bacteria beneficial to plant growth are found in the rhizo-sphere. These soil bacteria can suppress phytopathogenic organisms and facilitate the growth of plants by different mechanisms both directly and indirectly. During the recent years, a number of researches have been carried out to investigate the possibility of increasing crop yields with plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria either in commercial green houses or fields for the application purpose. The results showed clearly that these plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria applied in agricultural practice is of significantly economical importance. The gene transfer technology is now being applied to improve the efficiency of these free-living bacteria in plqnt rhizosphere.
