摘要
语言总是反映社会的。本文在特征标记理论的基础上,通过大量的实例分析,从英语单词的形和义两个方面探讨了英语中的性别歧视现象,并指出只有女性真正有了自己的权力才能消除语言中的性别歧视,才能达到真正的男女平等。
Language always reflects the socity. Based on the principle of feature symbol, this paper dicusses the sexual discrimination from two aspects in English Words morphology and semantic words, and points out that the sexual dicrimination could not be eliminated until women gain their own right in the society.
