Cultural Empathy Principle in English Vocabulary Learning

词汇作为语言的基本要素之一,是语言学习的重要组成部分。针对中国英语学习者在学习英语词汇中存在的问题,本文指出在英语词汇学习中一定要注重文化移情原则,并具体阐述词汇学习与文化移情的关系。

As a basic element of language learning, vocabulary learning is very essential. While Chinese English learners always make some mistakes in understanding the cultural meaning of English vocabulary. In response, this paper proposes that non-native English learners should pay attention to cultural empathy principle when learning English vocabulary. The relationship between vocabulary learning and cultural empathy is also discussed.
