Study of Overvoltages on Series Capacitor of 500 kV Transmission Lines

利用电磁暂态程序（ＥＭＴＰ），计算了东北电力系统中，伊敏至冯屯５００ｋＶ线路的串补电容器在短路、重合闸、电容重投、系统摇摆时的暂态过电压．研究了非线性电阻（ＭＯＶ）保护系统的参数整定．

Using the electromagnetic transient program(EMTP), this paper calculates the transient overvoltages on series capacitor banks due to the short circuit fault, breaker reclosing, reinsertion of series capacitor, and system swing on the YiminFengtun 500 kV transmission lines in the power system of Northeastern China. The parameter settings of the metal oxide varistor (MOV) protective system are also studied.
