浅议高职英语教学中英美文化的引入

一种特定的语言总是和使用这种语言的民族或国家,以及其历史、文化、社会背景等因素息息相关。因此,文化知识的传授对于语言的理解起着重要的作用。在高职英语教学中,教师要有目的、有意识的向学生介绍一些西方社会的文化知识,尤其是英美文化知识。

A specific language is always closely related with nationalities and nations that uses it, with it＇s history, culture and social backgrounds. So, some knowledge of it＇s cuture plays a very important role in the understanding of a language. In vocational college English teaching, teachers should conciously introduce English and American culture to students.
