摘要 随着语用学的发展,出现了一些语言运用方面的繁杂现象。Verschueren认为这是语用学的困境,应该有一个连贯、统一的理论来统辖语用学的研究。语言顺应理论的建立正是为了实现这一目的。通过对Verschueren的语言顺应理论作一概述与阐释,并结合第二语言习得理论,分析、讨论外语教学的一些问题。 Pmgmatics is a very promising science. However, with its development, there appears to be miscellaneous in this field. Verschueren holds that it is the predicament of pragmatics and that there should be one consistent, identical theory to govern the study of pragmatics. It is just for this aim that the theory of linguistic adaptation is established. This paper gives a general introduction and interpretation of the theory of linguistic adaptation by Verschueren in the first place, and in the second, in light of the second language acquisition research, applies this theory to the foreign language teaching and learning as well as the analysis of the problems in this regard.
