摘要
法国著名社会学家鲍德里亚认为,当今社会从某种意义上说已成为消费社会。消费已经从物品消费转变为符号消费、图像消费。消费是一种操纵符号的行为,人们对符号的追求是无穷的。要成为人们消费的对象,物品必须变成符号、图像。人们通过符号建立差异,通过符号获得拯救。
Jean Baudrillard,the French sociologist, holds that modern society to some extent has become the consumption society. Consumption has transformed form object consumption to sign consumption and picture consumption. Consumption is an action manipulated by signs, for which human beings do their insatiable pursuit. Objects should change themselves into signs and pictures if they are turned into the object of consumption by man. Human beings establish difference and get salvation by signs.
