The key trait of personality consists in its culture. Traditional Chinese culture affects and forges Chinese personality, in which traditional Chinese education plays a crucial part. Chinese personality and its education, however, take on some severe issues in the setting of modernity, which derives from neglecting the significance of effects of traditional culture on Chinese personality formation in the process of Chinese cultural and educational modernization.
