摘要
该文介绍了ATM组播技术的原理和发展,以及其对多点视频通信技术的重要作用。讨论了在IP Over ATM网络下实现组播的两种方式的优缺点。分析了一种基于MARS的ATM组播模型。最后利用这一模型,提出了基于ATM组播技术的多人视频会议系统的解决方案。
This paper introduces the principle and development of ATM Muhicast technology, points out its importance to the multi point communication, and discusses two methods of the multicast based on IP Over ATM. Also it analyses the model of muhicast based on MARS over ATM. It gives one approach of multipoint video conference system based on this model
