摘要
以阳离子聚乙烯醇为分散剂,与苯乙烯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酰胺、阳离子单体,在过硫酸铵的引发下,在85℃进行接枝共聚,反应时间为2h,制得阳离子聚乙烯醇丙烯酸酯共聚物(CPVA/AA)乳液。用红外光谱(FT-IR)、透射电镜(TEM)等手段对其结构和性能进行表征。乳液pH值在7.0~7.5,固含量为20%,黏度为480mPa·s。该产品有助于纸张纤维的分散,使纸张中纤维紧密排列,从而明显提高其强度,在纸浆中加入质量分数为0.8%的共聚物乳液,可使纸张的抗张强度提高26.9%,撕裂度提高32.8%,耐破度提高24.5%。
The cationic polyvinyl alcohol-acrylate graft copolymer latex was prepared with the emulsifier-free copolymerization of styrene (St),butyl acrylate (BA) and AM and cationic monomer, using the polyvinyl alcohol as dispersing agent and the main chain and (NH4)2S2O8 as an initiating agent, at 85℃ for 2h in the aqueous medium. The structure of the product was characterized by IR and TEM. The copolymer emulsion was dispersed in water with the pH of 7.0 - 8.0, the soild content of 20% and viscosity of 480 mPa.s and used as the dry strength agent in papermaking. The results showed that the tensile strength increases by 26.9%, the tear strength increases by 32.8%, the bursting strength increases by 24.5% when the dry strength agent is used with the dosage of 0.8%, which proves that the said preparation method is successful and the dry strength agent has the excellent strengthening effect.
