Analyzing Max Planck 's Views on Reduction

通常认为,普朗克提出的量子概念标志了物理世界的一种非连续性,由此导致了一场巨大的科学革命。但缔造这一革命的关键人物——普朗克同样具有深厚的还原思想。

The conventional view is that Max Planck＇s quantum conception results in a scientific revolution because it opens a door for discontinuity in physics. However, the purpose of this paper is to show that there are some views on reduction in Max Planck＇s thoughts. As a key man in quantum revolution, Planck＇s reductive views can provide us with a new tool to clarify the relation between reduction and revolution.
