On Rousseau 's Thought about the Relationship of Freedom and Equality

理论界有人认为,卢梭思想中的自由是可为平等而牺牲之自由,其实不然,在卢梭那里,自由和平等都是他的政治思想中的重要组成部分,是人生所追求的最高价值目标。这两者不仅是不可以分割的,而且是紧密联系、相辅相成的。可以说,自由与平等是卢梭的《社会契约论》的核心,两者共生于他的整个理论体系之中。

Contraposed to the thoughts which held by some people who take it for granted that Rousseau, s freedom could be sacrificed when it opposites to equality, this article discussed Rousseau, sthought about the relationship of freedom and equality. And try to explain that freedom and equality are not only the most worthwhile goal which persued by Rousseau, but also the core of his The Social Contract, and attempt to prove it by his won words that on this topic the man never considered that eoualitv can be part form freedom , instead, the, two things are not noly contact but also intergrow in his whole system info.
