藿香解暑功效质疑

Query of expelling summer-heat of Agastache rugosa

就高等医药院校教材《中药学》（１９９５年版）中所载藿香的“解暑”功效提出质疑。认为藿香辛温之性与暑热证之治则相悖；虽其经配伍后用治暑季诸证（暑湿、湿温、暑月感寒等），但非直接解暑，而是化其湿、解其表，故不能认为它有解暑功效。藿香功效的表述还是以“芳香化湿，和中止呕，发散表邪”为佳。

Raised a query about the “expelling summer-heat effect of Agastache rugosa which record in the textbook of medical college 《Traditional Chinese pharmacology》(1995). Held the acrid taste and Warm nature of Agastache rugosa was contrary to the principle of treatment for febrile disease due to summer-heat evil. Agastache rugosa may be used to treat all syndromes in Summer (Summer-heat Wetness、Wetness-heat etc.) but it was not direct to expel Summer-heat it can be used to eliminat wetness and to expel superficial evils. So me can't thinkde it has the effect which expelling summer-heat. Recording effect of Agastache rugosa was taking“eliminating wetness with fragnant flavour. regulating middle-jiao relieving vomiting、expelling superficial evils”as better.
