Research on Bracket-annotation of Two-character Compoents and Four-character Units in the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary (5^(th) edition)

用于词条中注释该词目构成成分或构成单位的括注在《现汉》中非常普遍。本文拟以二字词目里的四字单位括注、四字词目里的前后二字成分括注为考察对象,对括注词语的选择、括注的目的作用、词语括注和单另出条的取舍、括注内容与出条解释的照应等问题进行探究,希望为全面了解《现汉》这一括注体例及以后的修订完善提供可资参考的依据。

Bracket annotation, which is used in vocabulary entries to annotate the entry＇s components or component units, is widely used in the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary. The article focuses on the bracket annotation of four-character unit in two-character vocabulary entry and two-character component in four-character vocabulary entries, and attempts to figure out the following problems as the choice of words with bracket annotations： the purpose and function of bracket annotations; the selection between bracket annotation and separated entries; and the coordination of the content of bracket annotation and the explanation of separated entries. Through this exploration, the system of interpretation within brackets will be fully represented. It serves as the reference for future improvements of the dictionary.
