三维有限差分光束传输法在AWG中的应用

摘要 文章以亥姆赫兹方程为基础,推导了三维有限差分光束传输法(FD-BPM),并在阵列波导光栅模拟计算中采用该方法对光场在阵列波导中的传输过程进行了计算和模拟。结果表明,采用三维FD-BPM可提高计算精度。另外由于三维FD-BPM对纵向步长不敏感,可通过加大步长来减少计算时间,在提高精度的同时,不影响计算时间。 On the basis of the Helmhohz equation, the 3-D Finite-Difference Beam Propagation Method (FD-BPM) is deducted, which is used in AWG simulations to compute and simulate the transmission process of the optical field in the array waveguide. The results show that the computation accuracy is improved by using 3-D BPM. Furthermore, as the 3-D BPM is insensitive to portrait step size, the calculation time can be shortened by increasing the step size, thus improving the accuracy with little effect on the calculation time.
