《读书杂志》是清代高邮王念孙继《广雅疏证》之后的一部校读古籍的巨著,是清代训诂学和校勘学的扛鼎之作。全书引证丰富,论证严密,对史部的《逸周书》、《战国策》、《史记》、《汉书》,子部的《管子》、《晏子春秋》、《墨子》、《荀子》、《淮南子》以及汉代碑文作文字、声韵、训诂、校勘等方面的精密考释。但智者千虑,必有一失。书中对有些条目的考释并非不刊之论。即对《读书杂志.史记杂志》中"固不闻声"、"有命"、"倍则战之"条提出疑问和解说。

＂Dushu Zazhi＂ is one of the great works on ancient books proofread by Wang Niansun in Qing Dynasty after ＂Guangya Shuzheng＂, and is the monumental work on critical interpretation of ancient texts and textual criticism in Qing Dynasty. The book was well quoted, and thoroughly proved. It has given the books ＂Yizhou Shu＂, ＂ZhanguoCe＂, ＂Shiji＂, ＂Hanshu＂, ＂Guanzi＂, ＂YanziChunqiu＂, ＂＇Mozi＂, ＂Xunzi Huainanzi＂ and tablet insriptions in Han Dynasty full interpretation on words, pronouciation, critical interpretaion, and textual criticism. However, there are some words and phrases explained in the book subject to discuss. This article focuses on some phrases and makes some explanation.
