高迁移率蛋白A1属于高迁移率蛋白家族成员,是一种广泛存在于真核生物细胞中,含量丰富的染色质结构转录因子,它具有3个AT-钩结构域,可通过修饰、弯曲或改变染色质/DNA的结构来调节基因转录。高迁移率蛋白A1与胚胎细胞的生长、凋亡过程和肿瘤进展密切相关,高迁移率蛋白A1基因被视为癌基因,是一种潜在的肿瘤标记物。该文主要介绍了高迁移率蛋白A1的结构、功能、主要特征及其在肺癌发病机制中可能的作用。
High mobility group protein A1 (HMGA1) protein belongs to the high mobility group family member, which is an chromatin architectural transcription factor. HMGA1 has three AT-hook domains and regulates genes transcription by modifying, bending or distorting the structure of chromatin. It correlates with the growth of embryo cell, apoptotic process and neoplastic progession. HMGA1 gene is regarded as oncogene and is a potential tumor marker. The article introduces the structure, function,primary characteristic and role of HMGA1 in the pathogenesis of lung cancer.
