Influences of Mass Media on Ideological and Political Education among Teenagers and the Countermeasures

现代社会,大众传媒已成为影响青少年思想政治教育的重要因素,它对青少年世界观、人生观、价值观的形成至关重要。大众传媒对青少年思想政治教育的积极影响和负面影响,为此,应利用大众传媒做好青少年思想政治教育工作。为了更好的发挥大众传媒对青少年思想政治教育的功能,作为传媒及其管理部门,应该加强传媒发展、管理的科学研究及制度建设;作为学校及教育行政部门,应该重视传媒时代青少年教育的研究,增强教育的针对性与有效性;作为青年自身,应该学会在信息的大海中识别真伪,努力把握自我,促进社会发展。

In modern society, mass media have become an important factor influencing ideological and political education among teenagers. This paper analyzes the influences, both positive and negative, of mass media on the ideological and political education among teenagers, and illustrates from five aspects how to make use of mass media to carry out ideological and political education among teenagers. In order to bring the educational role of mass media into full play, mass media and the management should strengthen researches of the development and management of mass media; schools and educational administration should stress the researches of juvenile education in the age of mass media; and teenagers themselves should have the ability to distinguish between the true and the false in the sea of information.
