目的论指导下的外事翻译策略与失误探讨

Discussion on Foreign Affairs Translation Strategy and Faults Based on Skopostheory

外事翻译的政治敏感性、时事性、纪律性使它有别于其它翻译.以翻译目的论的三个法则,即目的法则、连贯法则和忠实法则为基础,探讨了外事翻译的策略及翻译中容易出现的失误.提出翻译主体的意图性、译文的可接受性和文化的特殊性在外事翻译策略选择中具有重要作用.同时,指出目的论在外事翻译中的具体运用受到作者的理解与表达、文化差异性等诸多因素的影响和制约,由此而产生的主要失误是语言性翻译失误和文化性翻译失误.

Foreign affairs translation is different from other translations because of its some special properties, such as political sensitiveness, topicality and discipline. The select strategy and translation quality of foreign affairs translation are discussed based on Skopostheory which comprises the following three rules, the intent of the translation subject, acceptability and cultural particularity. In this paper, the intention of translator, acceptability of translation, and particularity of civilization are thought to play important role on the select of translation strategy. Moreover, the application of Skopostheo- ry may be restricted by the philological fault and culture fault.
