摘要
传统的翻译教学注重语言转换的训练,忽视跨文化意识在翻译教学中的作用,故而教学效果不佳。教师要改变这一状况,就必须改变传统的教学观念,将翻译教学纳入到跨文化交流的大框架中;就必须培养自身的跨文化意识,将跨文化意识运用到英语翻译教学中。只有这样,学生才能真正地掌握翻译技能,提高翻译水平。
The traditional translation teaching approach focuses on the conversion of linguistic elements and neglects cultural factors, thus does not bring notable results. Translation teaching should put culture and language in the same important place, which demands teachers themselves have the intercultural consciousness. This paper probes into the application of teachers' intercultural competence in translation teaching.
