摘要
The Proposition of ＂Aging before Getting Rich＂ Was Universally Recognized in the Last CenturyAfter the 1982 census data was released,I brought forward several times the proposition of ＂Aging before Getting Rich＂ at academic meetings and in a professional article. My purpose, in the context of the rapidly declining fertility rate and intensified trend of population aging, was to enable society to make preparations in ideology, theory, media, materials, policies and professional and health services in order to cope with an aging population. In my opinion, the concept of aging before getting rich reflects one of the characteristics of China＇s population aging： the phenomenon that the population will age before the country becomes universally prosperous.
